It was the year of our Lord 1998, April the 5th to be precise, when Project Love Church was born. Pastor Lang and Brother Calvin Jackson on April 1, 1998 arrived at 6035 Fairfield Avenue.This was the former church facilities of the Fairfield Presbyterian Church. The word spread quickly throughout the region. Project Love Church begin under the name of Project Love Baptist Church but Pastor Lang felt compelled of God to change the name to Project Love Church of Jesus Christ. Project Love is an interdenominational church ministry. This means we are willing to cross all denominational lines to win for Christ. We are not bound by any convention or traditional group. Our complete objective is to obey The Lord and be guided by His Spirit.
There have been many accomplishments throughout these years of existence. The vision statement is quite clear: "Reach the world with the gospel while ministering to the whole man, clothing the naked, feeding the hungry, and supplying shelter to the homeless, and restoring hope and happiness to some down and out soul along the way." This body of Jesus Christ has been fulfilling the vision!
We have been witnessing throughout several states in the nation with T.V.: the state of New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Arkansas, Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma. Places which received gospel material from this ministry includes Guiana, Panama, Africa, Japan, Georgia, California, Canada, Michigan and Florida.Without sounding an alarm in regard to aiding the poor, we have provided funding and various resources to charities and missions and persons who have called in for assistance and help.
We hold to the fact that history will show that God started this ministry under the leadership of Pastor Jerome Lang Sr..This history was condensed for time sake.
